Overview of Preventive Traffic Management in Atm Networks

چکیده
Aim of this paper is to present ATM technology and its main advantage, the mechanism of a traffic management and congestion control. In the first part brief overview of traffic management issues in ATM network are presented. Then requirements on preventive traffic control functions are discussed. In the second part of this paper we address various types of proposed connection admission control methods.
